Bagpuss,

I know the feeling, you are far from alone on feeling depressed or worried about what is going on. When all of this first started I went through a whole range of emotions, fairly quickly. But when I needed to boost up I went to my children. Gave horse rides to my son, even bullrides till my back hurt. While I lay there in pain he was lauhing, and having a good old time playing with dad. Something we have done alot, but it took on special meaning to me this time. There was nothing different, but it let me forget all of the crap the world dishes out.

Sure the world may not change overnight, but it is changing, slowly. In our lifetime, we may never see the end to constant attacks and counter attacks. But, with luck and teaching, our great grand children might see less of it. They may even learn tolerance that we have not seen in years. Unfortunatly, there will always be people that break the peace, that become intolerant. We deal with them as we must, then move on and try to learn from what we have done.
