There is debate and caution in Israel regarding the request for riot control gear. Many cite Israel's honoring the Oslo agreement and providing the Palestinian police with guns. These , although numbered and logged were and are being used against Israeli troops and civilians. Israel has not yet made a decision whether to comply with this latest request- and there are many here who think she should do so. We shall see. Jack The Lad- In Israel
