I may be wrong, but I'd guess the "girl guitars" are made by Samick in Korea. Correct me if I'm wrong. I think all their guitars are butt ugly, and woud be difficult to hold sitting down. Pre-teen girls may well flock to these guitars. Very clever marketing ploy. But I think a lot of the girls buying these alleged guitars will eventually learn out what guitars are all about, and figure out on their own that they need to buy a decent guitar.
