Oh, what a tame childhood had I! We sang cowboy type songs, mainly, learned from my dad and mom. Like Give My Love to Nellie, Jack and Letter Edged in Black and Little Joe, the Wrangler and When the Work's All Done this Fall, Got No Use for the Women, Cowboy Jack, and lots more as well as songs of the Prohibition era like Little Blossom.

From my earliest years I remember my dad walking around outdoors on the farm singing, always singing.
