Allan (and others) - I am assuredly coming to the getaway - I will be there friday, friday night, saturday evening and night, sunday, sunday night.

However, if I do NOT make an appearance at a certain performance of Commedia dell'arte; and a certain performance of "Taming of the Shrew" my life will be hell for the next twelve months - not to mention my love life cursed. (it's *not good* to get the afr goddess of love mad at you) And my love life is in sad enough shape as it is! Plus a certain pyrate has promised to sing a song for me, and I intend to collect!

and yes, it's a ren-faire. My only excuse is that they have yet to start any 12 step programs for ren-faire addicts - (though our belief is it would take at least 24 steps anyway)
