Deckman,You remember how he used to have the lists of song titles taped to his guitar? It started with a modest list on a 3 by 5 card taped to the shoulder of the insrument, where he could look and decide which of the songs he knew to sing. As he learned more, the list grew to cover the entire side, and finally migrated to a typed list, column after column, taped to the back that finally covered the back completely. On occasion at concerts or hoots someone else would remark in the list and hold his guitar up for the audience to see.
I found several capos in the guitar case, his old tuning fork, (I think it must have been for luck, because I know he had electronic gadgets for tuning in later years), notepads, pencil stubs, probably a chap stick. The usual stuff. I think there was a little pocket-sized thing of kleenex. m
