Thank you all for your advice and kind words. The shock of it all is more so because only the primary tomour showed up on scans. We were sure that once she had the op. everything would be fine, in time. Then this arose two days ago. It breaks my heart that she will be leaving us and will never see our two lovely grandchildren grow up and that they will not remember what a lovely ,caring Gran she was.
