Hey Sourdough ... there you go again ... telling a story wonderfully ... or maybe I should say ... telling a wonderful story wonderfully! This is what I LOVE about mudcat. The occasional posting of folkies that can really tell a story, a song, a tale, so well that you are captivated. Thank you so much for the posting. And yes Petaluma is nice. I spent a year there one Winter in 1959. I remember a song we used to sing:
I was born in Petaluma,
Sausalito I did dwell,
there I met the strangest fellows,
who's age and sex, I could not tell.
