I still don't understand why the people of New York would elect to represent them, someone who didn't even LIVE there until she decided she was going to run for office. Was the other choice that bad? Maybe some New Yorkers can enlighten me on this. I have always perceived New Yorkers as sort of a tight-knit bunch, so it surprised me when an outsider was elected.
