I meant that it was a brusque and dismissive answer to a new Mudcatter's 2nd or 3rd post which is not the best way to keep members for any length of time.
Cantrip would have taken it up himself but he was downstairs making dinner and is now away out for the evening.
I do think this is a worthwhile point to make though, the format of discussion forums means you have to be explicit or else things can easily be taken the wrong way (see above :-) ). A simple 'thanks for trying though' would have done the trick, as it stood it was quite off-putting.
