Is Rick Kane playing the Newmarket Coffeehouse this Friday, Nov.5th? Bob Froese (sp?) sent me an e-mail saying that he'd book Rick while I was driving to Nova Scotia in August. I forgot to reply and haven't heard since.

I pulled Rick's tape out and played it yesterday while driving to Moncton and back. What a strange beautiful day. Cape Breton was acting bipolar, it wasn't just me - bright happy sunshine on red and yellow mountains one minute, dark rainy sulking storms the next. We drove through several snow squalls on the way back. Kelly's mountain looked Christmasy around 3am. Unfortunately we had to wait for a half hour while construction workers moved a concrete slab in place on the Seal Island Bridge. Waiting for contruction spoils the mood at 3 in the morning.
