My mother was born on the same day as Leadbelly - 29 January. She was 110 this year.

I do know of two or three other SPs in the Midlands, though, two of which worked in the steel business in the 70s at the same time I did. I'm actually the SP who sang at the Fitter's Arms in Walsall and partnered Barrie Roberts for several years, knows Cosmotheka, and once had supper with Barbara Dickson at the Happy Gathering in Birmingham.
