Subject: RE: BS: Bush :mass small pox vaccinations unwise
I guess the problem is if you or your kid happens to be one of those ten people. But still, I am not in favor of not having kids vaccinated. A friend of our had a daughter who had a seizure after the standard vaccinations. Though she recovered completely and never had another, the doctor thought it was unwise to vaccinate the rest of the children (4 younger ones) due to weird family medical history. One of the younger kids contracted whooping cough, was out of school for 6 months, and took a year to fully recover. She was 6 at the time.

Another friend didn't believe in antibiotics, and so did not treat her 6-year-old for strep, since he had no symptoms but a mild sore throat. Then she sent him to play at my house, and the little monster re-infected my daughter, a friend, and me three times before we found out where it was coming from. We were all three extremely sick. We finally convinced her to get the kid treated when the doctor observed that strep could cause stuff like liver damage.
