spaw, do we have any dates re the Guild bit?

I have played a couple of Fenders where "mariginal" would be flattering.

I could say the same for a Vega banjo I once tried but I believe (and would expect) Vega made by Deering are good instruments...

Life gets confusing when brands get passed around, used as labels... I guess it all adds weight to the "blind test" thoery though...
