a telecaster to me feels a lot heavier and it doesn't have the contour body that the strat has, i've tried the tele and it does have a nice twang to it,but the ultimate is the strat to me, i also have a squier bullet strat made in mexico, and i have a lot of fun playing that guitar. BOB
