Sorry, kat, you posted while I was writing mine...that makes more sense. (That's why I said "based on the information you gave...") My patients don't get otoliths -- they're too young! -- so it's not something I generally think about. See, that's why I said you have go to a competent doctor...not a pediatrician! (That is, of course, unless you happen to be a child or adolescent.)
