I wouldn't say it was high-paying, since I worked for the (US) Federal government as a mid-level manager, but I retired in September and my stress level is WAY down. The converse is that Jenn's stress level is up because she has placed herself in charge of worrying about income vs. outgo. Not doing much right now except winding down, but I plan to go back to college in January.
