Yes, David did proclaim himself the new Messiah, publicly, loudly and on national TV - he was on the Wogan show and I could hear the audience laughing at him, Terry did his best to remain po-faced, but David was totally unaware of what complete and unmittigated cobblers he was talking.... and carried on in all seriousness!
