I remember long ago
Songs of Love were the way to go
It's a different world today
Peace and Love have slipped away
The dreams have changed, but this I know
Everyone still wants to have a Rainbow

Its common now to put your faith
In a world of things that Time will take
Grab on tight and hold on fast
To the nearest thing that will not last
We bought our tickets to this show
Still everybody wants to have a Rainbow

Satisfaction must come quick
Stimulation laid on thick
With images so rapid fire
Lacking substance to inspire
And dollars reap what dollars sow
But everyone still wants to have a Rainbow

If something Holy underlies
Can we perceive it with our eyes?
The Path is narrow, strait the Gate
That leads us to investigate
A realm that only Spirit knows
Where everyone is looking for a Rainbow

The Color Bridge it spans the sky
From the day you're born to the day you die
As rain refracts the rays of Sun
We separate into the One
Where accident by intent flows
We find ourselves just looking for a Rainbow
