I have a bizarre early 60s memory of Leslie Crowther and Peter Glaze performing "A Shot Of Rythm'n'Blues on CRACK ERJACK also Gene Pitney singing "24 Hours From Tulsa" beautifully. It was a Friday teatime institution and still missed by us "grown-ups"
