Well, Amos, you've answered your own question. It's about communication, education and taking the time to see what the other guy is thinking rather than pulling the trigger. I know you're just funnin' but it really is that simple. And as for your idea of pitting volunteers against one another? Hey, I think that anyone who shows up at the gun store and wants to buy an assault weapon so they can go out and do some "sport" shooting that these folks would have to spend one week with their new assualt weapons inside a compound filled with other nutballs who have just bought assault weapons, after being told that everyone in that compound it out to get ya. Yep, you don't hear the N.R.A. saying that. I'm just funnin, Amos, but I do believe that peace beats the heck out of killin' folks....
