Most of the grainy people in this pub tended to look the other way, or pretended to enjoy that guy with his over sized mandolin, whenever Alfonse (pictured background, 2nd from the right) did his "Cat bathing" interpretive dance...

"We let him in cause he eats all the stuff that falls on the floor", the barman told us for a fiver, "food or not."

The musician was unavailable for comment. Sources close to him (like "Little Boy Blue" aka, "Dark rum, one ice cube") say he's out looking for hair treatment products...

"It can't be easy", confided one of the barmaids later in my hotel room, "to work so hard to learn such a goofy instrument, only to be up staged by some wackos party piece. If only all entertainment was as easy as just going off yer meds."
