Maxine, I'll own up to a prurient interest! I'm from Walsall originally (but why would I travel to Brum when I used to libve around the corner form Caldmore?). Never heard of the song, though. Which part of Brum is suposed to be notorious then? In Wolverhampton it was (is?) Raby Street, if that ever inspired a song.
