Actually, Desdemona, the second song we sing with our akvavit or aquavit (either way, it's remarkable stuff!) has a line that goes something like "Hoo-rah for potatas-land." I think it glorifies the source of the firewater!

I'd love to actually HEAR your song, as Scandinavian pronunciations are a total mystery to me, and the tune would help, too. Might be fun to add a new song, but on the other hand, two shots of aquavit before dinner are undoubtedly enough -- I'd never be able to make the gravy if I had three!
