Thread Name: BS: Write Something Part 2
Subject: RE: BS: Write Something Part 2
The current sum of the parts:

In the good old wintertime
With sealing wax and bits of twine
I spied my true love drinking wine
and pining for her dearie

Says I by and by,
With a glint in me eye,
From Clondarken I must fly.
I'll return someday with O'Leary

And in the days to come you'll know
as we watch the falling snow
That I've stuck her back together
with the sealing wax and bits of twine!

Chorus:
Oh sad is my fate, for in losing my heart,
Though it wasn't my fault, for the room was quite dark,
I was cruelly seduced by the Doll Maker's Art,
I'm in love with a maid by Gepetto!

Then O'Leary says "explain",
We went to town and caught the train
But the wine had left my head in pain
And I ended up lost in the ghetto!

As I took O'Leary from her case,
The wax and twine stuck to her face
And I knew that I had lost the race
when I found her broken stiletto

My heart was filled with utmost woe
To join the Army I will go
But on the way I stubbed my toe
And cursed the ground she walked on

Chorus

My mother said to cut the strings
But sealing wax had stuck the things
And the awkwardness that heartache brings
I left her gooed and glued.

But she cried I had broke her heart, her
Life alone was a non-starter
So I took her to that world-class Farter
And left her in the arms of Spaw.

That Spaw, he was no gentleman
He preferred Vegemite to Jam
He locked her in the public can
with Cletus, the Reg boys and Pa!

Chorus

'Oh woe is me!,' cried O'Leary,
'My twine, it is forsaken,'
And my twine, I can but pine
Until some action's taken!!

Hoo-Haa, Hoo-Hee, what's this I see?
A hero in the offing
A manly Camels man is he,
All bent and weak from coughing.

His yellow digits touched my heart
And sent my senses whirring
So heatedly that now my spouse
With lawyers is conferring!!

Chorus

He then removed my sable coat
Said to me he was defurring
He laid it on the ground and then
He started in to purring!

Then gave me but a single groat.
What was he inferring?
