I've a therapist friend who spends HOURS on his cell daily, talking with clients.

However, he has his system set up so that calls to his office buzz his pager (which is on vibrate), and then he excuses himself, goes to someplace private and away from the general din of the public, and calls from there.

But then again, he's considerate and fairly polite.
