I have been thinking a bit,(not that it ever helps) and think that "Faded Love", traditional or not, is the song that wraps it all up for me, with "Stand By Your Man" right up there. "You Don't Know Me", "He Stopped Loving Her Today" would be hard to top, as well. Going back a bit before that, "The Prisoner's Song","I'm Here to Get My Baby Out of Jail", "Kentucky"--well, for everyone I can think of now, there will be twenty that come to mind later--
