The set contains all his known extant recordings on the Bluebird label, a low-priced subsidiary of Victor. That is, 42 out of 230 recordings made in his entire career from 1934 to 1953. Tampa Red sings and plays slide guitar and kazoo, sometimes backed up by a piano, string bass, 2nd guitar, and jug.
