Hi Folks! My thanks to all of you who gave me the feedback on "Deportees"...i.e. Plane Wreck At Los Gatos. Ok...now I'm going to open up another can of worms! Does anyone remember the folk group called The Womenfolk? They were an all female singing group that came on the scene...just about the time Folk Music was leaving the scene. The one song I vividly remember them doing was "Little Boxes". Anything else over and above that...I draw a blank! I don't know whether they cut an album, or not. I would guess no because they were on the tail end of the Folk Era. C'mon all you ladies out there...some of you have gotta remember The Womenfolk! Help an old Folk Song Strangler out here! If you know of an album, or CD...let me know where I can lay my hands on it! I've checked all the "normal" places and drew a zip! If you know where I can get the album, or CD...contact me at spiritwhale@earthlink.net Thanks folks! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hi, Spirit Whale - try our search engines. There have been several messages already posted about the Womenfolk, just like there was already a lot of information posted about Deportee.
It's better to see what has already been posted and add to those discussions, rather than starting a new thread for every question that comes to mind.
