I suppose one could question the authenticity of the gospel music recorded by the Fairfield Four. Seems to me that they are to black gospel, what the Statlers are to white gospel. Doesn't matter much to me - I love the two Fairfield Four CD's that I have, and they do an especially good job on this song. I like Statlers gospel, too.
