Down here in Melbourne, Victoria, 1,000km south of Sydney, we are having a 'cool' xmas this year with temperatures hardly exceeding 20 degrees Celsius.

Victoria too has had its bushfire tragedies in the recent past and we feel for those poor people in NSW. Hundreds of our volunteer firefighters are already up there or on their way to help and we wish them all good luck and come back safe.
