You don't need me to tell you it's been a momentous year in terms of world events....a year that will live in history, a date schoolchildren will memorise.In personal terms, it's been quite a year for many of us too, so, what will you take from it, what did you learn? A new song, a new attitude , maybe a whole new outlook on life?

I'm still chewing over the gristly bits of the lessons from this year....I hope that if I only take one thing from it, it will be to never take things for granted; not people, not places,not safety.Carpe Diem, that's what I hope I have learned.
