Good luck with it Lane. Catspaw's right, there are probably a dozen 'drop D' threads here. I may have STARTED a few of them!
Ignore the 'training wheels' comment. Dropped D can be a lot of fun, and if played right, it sounds beautiful. It has nothing to do with slide guitar. It DOES take subtlety tho'.
