Greg, while I mentioned the finish, the piano did get a complete restoration. All the mechanicals of the keys, hammers, and pedals were redone.I don't know if all the strings were replaced or just the dead and broken ones. I do know that when I saw it for the first time in 5 years after the restoration it looked incredible and as I mentioned in my first post the sound was incredible.Everything worked smoothly and the tone and volume were beautiful. It will never be a repository for beer mugs and it is far beyond a students spinnet. Though, hopefully, I will be the student learning on it.
