I appreciate every one of you folks, and, from what I have learned in the last couple of days, I'm not so much worried about the condition as the skill of the surgeon who will do the operation. I'd also like to know what caused it so I can prevent it in the future. I have a speech pathologist lined up, maybe I'm doing something harmful that can be corrected.
