I think it says a lot about the man who taught me all I know about HMLT and his contribution to The Mudcat, that when I did a Forum Search on Joe Offer, to see when his last contribution was, my machine got as far as 900KB and then with steam coming out of it seized up and died. Which is why I did not notice his post for the 15th March and I issued this APB.

I am glad that he has apparently been sighted and is in good health, but I think we should be a little cautious in making the assumption that it is our Joe Offer. I would suggest that any one who comes in to contact with someone claiming to be him, asks him a question that only our Joe would know the answer to.

I would suggest something like how many contributions did the 'condom' thread contain, or where does Alice learn the words to her songs? What question would you suggest, to prove that he is who he claims to be?
