Chip A, People wanting adequate health care isn't the same as wanting a free ride. It's just common sense. Healthy people can be more productive than sick people, and are able to give more to society. Sick people are a drain on the country's resources. It only makes good sense to keep people as healthy as possible. Skimping on health care resources is penny wise and pound foolish.

And then, of course, there are the millions of working people in the US who have no access to any sort of health coverage at all.

DougR, you seem to be under the impression that moving to other countries is a very easy thing to do and that all it requires is the desire to do it. I hate to be the one to have to break this to you, but it just ain't so.
