The tune is the theme from Exodus. And, yes, Spam is the state food of Hawaii. Hawaiians eat more Spam per capita than residents of any other state. A big favorite is Spam musubi...see one of the sushi threads for further explanation. It's just one of the things that makes these islands, er, different.
