Well, no, "Lent" is only from Ash Wednesday till Easter (this year, Feb. 13 to Mar. 31).

Some of us who work in the US have an even longer period between day-off-from-work holidays. Where I work, we get New Year's Day, then nothing until Memorial Day (this year, Jan. 1 to May 27). What do we call that?.... several names, all of which consist of strings of four-letter words.
