Subject: RE: BS: Why did god make me fat?
*sigh*...there is no reason to it all. I was a skinny kid, my younger brother got ALL the weight. I still have my hair at 62, but am losing hearing and having cataracts in my eyes.

It's called being human...and the best way to be human is to do our best with what we have. Being fat was a survival characteristic at one time, ensuring storage of energy....now it is a problem for many.

You can work against it, or you can tolerate it...or you can ignore it, even when those around you don't want to.

I know one person who went thru the process of having their jaws wired shut for months to limit calories...and it did no lasting good.....and I knew another who just 'decided' to lose 50 lbs...and did.

I guess all the talk boils down to YOU, and whether you allow the situation to consume you...and no one can answer that for you.

I do wish you well and hope life is good when weight is subtracted from the equation. (hard to say that gently)
