Dear 17 stone

2 years ago I weighed in at 17.5 stone = 245 lbs or 11.5 kilos.

2 days ago I weighed in at 12 stone 2 lbs = 170 lbs or 76 kilos.

I started dieting because my docctor told me that my bloood pressure was stupidly high. It still is - without medication I am 180/140. With heavy medication and weight loss it is 132/90.

I put on weight because I was unhappy with my life. Bored, and sad. My husband still loved me but I had a dreadful self image of myself.

I have lost weight because I have found something that interests me more than food. (At least that is what I am hoping).

Bu I am still not totally happy.

My friends who were my friends whatever I weighed are still there, but I have discovered in the last two days that loss of weight is not always the Nirvana that we want. I would like to think that the weight loss is soley down to my self control, but it probably isn't. It could be down to Lymphona that I possibly have, or the viral condition that may have triggered it off.

So honey - be yourself - be happy with yourself - whatver your weight. God will do to you whatever he wants. What you do to your own mind is up to you.

Many men like tubby females and friends do not care whatever size you are. Be true to your self.
