I really can't believe that telling someone who feels bad about her size that big girls are more sexy is going to cheer her up; not only does she have an image problem, now she's attracting wierdos! Big girls are sexy, but you wouldn't be impressed if I told you "not to worry your pretty little head about it, my dear", I think. 17, you're OK (you must be, you're a Mudcatter!), but if you want to change the way you see yourself, that's OK too--you can change the way you look and at the same time change the way you perceive yourself, and when the two meet each other, you'll be perfect. (Am I still being patronising? I'll go and lie down for a bit.)
