Wow, Jerry....Arms Akimbo! Now there's a name from the past. Didn't he used to work for Legs Diamond?

I'm really gonna throw a monkey wrench in here and probably seriously piss off INOBU...but here goes...

I'm a fan of this band...and not because I hang on every word from Larry's pen on Mudcat. As a matter of a fact, sometimes I think he expects far too much from the 'industry types' considering the music he writes.

Nope, I'm a fan primarily because of the 'originality in concept' of Snorkle Dorkle. Some (not all) of the music addresses issues simply not touched on by bands in general. Singer songwriters can and do write about political issues that concern them, but in 14 years of doing a radio show, I've never (that I can remember) recieved a CD (or vinyl) for airplay that dealt with hard news stories, and important social issues (other than "the troubles") USING a traditional Celtic band format.

So.......I'm gonna make a suggestion. If you REALLY like Larry's CD, and it becomes a part of your listening collection....AND if you can afford it..AND if you really want to...send him a few bucks, to help make the next one.

Sorry Larry.
