I have a Maton. (Australian) Love the guitar but the battery sucks. (Until i read a solution above)

Loosen all strings.

Grope about inside and drag out a tight fitting 9v. whilst risking destruction of connecting wires.

Blindfold yourself.

Hold battery firmly and poke around inside.

Find connecting battery clip.

With the same hand, (no choice) hold battery and clip and connect. EASY.

F....... TRY IT.

STILL LOVE MY MATON...... ???????????
