I also heard of the spearing punishment. It reminded me of the song Johnny A Day about an aboriginal who is sentenced to such a punishment. I sometimes sing it because it is a good story but get ridiculed by anyone who remembers it as a Rolf Harris song. Anyone else does it?
Back to the point, I sometimes shoot bows and arrows, and once threw javelins. Is it insulting to ask if old skills are perpetuated?
