On this page of the Miss Universe site, you can send an e-mail message to any "delegate" (contestant) – and Ligia was a 2001 delegate at this pageant, according to the site. Just choose "Miss Nicaragua 2001" from the pop-up menu. The page does say that there's a possibility that the delegate may respond personally to a question, so why not give it a try? Here again, it may be useful to have someone who is fluent in Spanish ask the question (I imagine that someone would translate a message in English, but that might delay the answer, and time is of the essence!).
