Yes, Mikal, there is something on the Mudcat for everyone. Anything from finding lyrics to obscure songs to lively discusions dealing with the difference between cookies and biscuits have been dealt with this past week or so. I am also a relative newcomer but have never been made to feel as at home anywhere else I have wandered. There are many fun loving folks here and there are also some "purists" that feel only music should be discussed on this board. The beauty of it is we ALL coexist here and enjoy each others thoughts.
