As far as I can make out here, most of today's adverse comments were based on previous remarks by their subjects, but Nigel's comments were just based on outdated stereotypes of whom Sir Les Patterson was the epitome. Luckily he was invented by an Australian, as was Dame Edna, so that's alright then...

PS I always thought Phil the Greek was the dishy guy you could buy fish and chips (and other edible stuff) from the White Horse caff in Sidmouth after the pubs closed in Folk Week.
