I was amazed to find that Dylan's lyrics had real depth to them, the first time I actually saw them in print. Years of hearing his chew-it-up voice and I'd never once been able to decipher anything other than the odd word! I reckon us auld yins grew up with our ears attuned to a different wavelength.
