Thread Name: BS: Cornbread & the Weird Synchronicity of Mudcat
Subject: RE: BS: Cornbread&theWeirdSynchronicity ofMudcat
I'm sorry group that I chose to leave this off the 'Cat, but for the love of God, it just seems that everytime I turn around there's another thread about Spaw being in the hospital....and I swear to you, I'm not that unhealthy!!! I appreciate your kind words and I always know I have so many great friends behind me......Wait, make that "supporting me."

And Lyrical Lady, I'm glad you decided to check in here because as you and I discussed the other day, this does seem to be one of those "unspoken" diseases. And of course there are a lot of folks here who will be wanting to keep you in their thoughts as the surgery comes up.

LL and I really did have a good laugh over this, but the disease itself is no laughing matter as you can wind up dead all too quickly, even with the best of antibiotic care. In some cases the only option left is a colostomy and though you can live quite succesfully with one, it's not the way anyone would really want to go if there is an option. In this case, the best cure is often surgery to remove the problem section of bowel.

So do yourselves a favor and when you have "gas pains" that last more than a few days, get checked!!
